An identity card is not a driving licence

Brazil’s Federal Police says tourist travel may use an identity card issued less than ten years ago with a recognisable photograph; a CNH is not an entry document. Confirm requirements for your document, route and purpose. Federal Police: Mercosur travel.

Use the Portuguese enquiry option

This website and its prepared WhatsApp messages are available in Brazilian Portuguese. Write full dates and the local arrival time in Cusco. If discussing the stay across languages, “quarto” means room and “café da manhã” means breakfast; spell out particular needs and wait for confirmation.

Clarify payment arrangements

Ask for the rate, currency and accepted payment methods in writing. Pix, payment in reais and international bank transfers have not been confirmed. For connecting journeys, keep the final leg into Cusco handy and read our airport and bus terminal arrival notes.
